| I am Married. He is BDSM aware and involved with me in my kinks. We are both switches. Members of the CSPC in Seattle/ACES in Kitsap County. Also on , where I spend far more of my time. Want to know even more about me? Go there and read my profile, and my writings. The profile name is -Aine-.
I like to talk to and help out people, whether they be new or not, the conversation is always good and if I can help someone on the way, all the better. :)
Looking to make friends both online and locally. Not opposed to meeting people on a platonic level, coffee, hanging out, make friends while I'm here, exchange intelligent discourse (and of course utter silliness at times) about ideas on life in general, and anything else we can think of!
To be honest with others, one must first be honest with themselves. Do not fear honesty, embrace it. For if you can not, others will see you as false, and treat you thusly.
Respect is something earned, and something very easily lost. Something that seems to have fallen through the cracks in this day and age. Or perhaps it's just something that I'm noticing more and more as I get older.
People who show respect, get respect. Those that show a complete lack thereof, will get politely turned away.
A mind for detail is also a wonderful thing. People who notice things, and are sensitive to those small things are noticed by others as someone worth speaking to. Personal conduct is becoming a lost art, which is quite sad. It's not just about what you project to others, it's a combination of what you project and what you absorb from others.
A good listener is something rare these days as well. Someone who is attentive, retains things, instead of just having things to "add". Everything ties into another, yet few seem to get that. One leads to another or goes hand in hand if you will.
It's something that should be applied to all parts of our lives, and is seemingly sadly left at the door when people enter into this lifestyle and add it to their already existant lifestyles. It's as though everything that they've learned up to the point that they find this "Lifestyle" is suddenly null and void or something not worth hanging on to.
Why? Eh, just another question that I don't think will get answered anytime soon.
What drives me is information, being a student of life. I love being the spectator, the audience, the listener of tales and histories and opinions and life and death. I love studying human nature in it's raw forms, the beautiful, the ugly, the awesome and fearsome. The imperfections that create everything in us and around us, and embracing those imperfections that create such splendid lives. Those same imperfections that can cause such a rift.
We travel through the east coast on occassion, between CT and Florida, as that is where our respective families are. Hoping to do some more traveling without any big family required visits..
"life or something like it” me
What swims around in my head, my vision, my heart, my soul.
Pulsing bouts of red haze, or swirling colors of infinite brilliance. Liquid fire burning and searing, or icy waves crashing endlessly.
What we fear, we love. What we love, we hate. What we hate, we search for.
What hurts us, we love, and we hurt what we love. And endless, vicious cycle, something we cannot escape.
It's amazing how similar the body's reactions are to two things so seemingly different...we like to delude to that conclusion, at least.
rage...passion...love...hate...
