12 years as a sadist in mainstream BDSM, now 8 years as a follower of Gorean philosophies, here to observe, and converse with others in the
real-life *UK* lifestyle. A 'slaver' by inclination and experience.
Absolutely NO interest in 'online' Gor or Goreans, 'fantasy' Gor, online roleplay or 'chatroom-only' Goreans - none of them are *real-life*, and none have anything in common with the real-life Gorean lifestyle.
For those who don't get it, Gor is similar to a 1950's lifestyle. We dont do 'extreme' anything - except control and responsibility!
We may well be seen as 'old-fashioned' even, but honour, honesty and taking responsibility for our actions actually means something rather more than empty words.
I have NO desire to converse with liars, fakes or abusers, I know and/or have met enough of those already, ALL who claim to understand 'honour'.
Those who cannot respect another mans collar, or relationship, have no place in a lifestyle based on honour and 'boundaries' of what is acceptable behaviour. Such people have no morals or principles.
Many may claim to be Gorean ( for whatever reason). Very few actually live up to these claims. Most have never even read the books, they are 'Google Goreans' Lol!
'Talking the talk' is easy - and many can, even convincingly.
Talking however, does not make one Gorean.
'Walking the walk' is somewhat more difficult.
And a *Gorean* gathering should contain behaviour and actions that can be clearly identified as specifically Gorean.
The only RL Gorean group in the UK to hold regular *real-life* meetings and a yearly encampment (our 6th this year).
