I go by Firestorm or Calla Firestorm, though if you advertise yourself as a submissive, slave, or servant, it would serve you well to address me as Dame Calla. I could go into huge explanations as to why, but suffice to say that, to me, if you are going to advertise yourself within a submissive mien, then I expect that I will be given the courtesy of being recognized as "self-owned". It is a point of protocol, and is one of the things that I am relatively picky about (I consider good manners and appropriate demeanor from both sides of the kneel to be quite crucial).

What can I say about me. Well, I'm in my 30th year as a minister in alternative spirituality. Right now, my path is one of celibacy and monastic preferences. I go in cycles. Sometimes I'm social and companionable, and sometimes I'm not. The older I get, the better I understand my patterns of behavior, and I love that I get to choose the patterns in life that fulfill and nurture my personal growth.

I am a dominant female, living near the Third Coast in the United States, but I'm not your typical "dominant". Think of me more as "Yoda" than "Lady Heather".  I co-habit with another dominant female, whom I've shared a home with for over 10 years. We get along sometimes. Other times it gets pretty volcanic around our house. Eventually, I'll probably be choosing a place of my own where I can indulge my introverted nature, but for now, my companion is a pretty good room-mate.

Among other things I do, I am an author (speculative fiction, some horror, and esoteric non-fiction). I'm building a site that will provide serial versions of mine and others' stories by subscription, for all those people who are too busy or who prefer to expend their attention in small doses and find full-length novels to be too much to take on.

I adore books, and read extensively. Though the list is much longer than this, I have a particular fondness for Heinlein, Rand, Lackey, and Hamilton.

I also write for my work. Right now, I'm in a traditional 40 hr/week work situation, writing clinical protocols, manuscripts and grants -- primarily focused on cancer treatment or cancer quality of life studies.

Recreationally, I am a gourmet cook. My current cooking fetish is grain-free cooking, and I'm becoming quite the expert on putting together grainless meals, and doing amazing baking out of alternative (nut and root) flours. I am heavily invested in the local-foods movement, and do activism work related to restoring the natural 'foodshed' around our country's urban centers.

In terms of folks to bottom -- well, my fave play is needle play and temporary piercing. I like to do artistic pieces and creative designs. Mostly, I work privately, since it's hard to find public places to do blood-related scenes. However, I don't meet and scene on the same day... I need some time to plan, and time to size up the bottom to make sure that meeting to do a piece isn't going to be a problem.

What am I looking for? Well, uh, I'm not really "looking", but, being poly, I'm open to the possibility of people, and all the potentials they represent. If people were to enter my life who were open-minded, very yielding, comfortable with periods of exceptionally high protocol and both personal and domestic service-oriented, and who were also comfortable with having interspersed  low-key, relaxed opportunities for a quiet, peaceful household... folks who were willing to learn, comfortable with their bodies, who enjoyed blood-sports like piercing, and into intense philosophical discussion and exploration... well, chances are pretty good that I wouldn't be ignoring them *chuckles*
