I live by the philos and ethos that have me sizing up a situation, having 4-5 options then going forwards. This way my life has hurdles and not walls, because I have the control and do not make excuses.
My Gorean education has my way of thinking being that you give 150% and always go forward. Honour and respect are a corner block within the Gorean life, and your word is cement. If you can't accomplish this, then you should re think your life in Gor.
You can have passion, desire, forward thinking, goals met, and you do this by giving 150%. If you say to yourself that giving it 75% is good enough, then you are kidding yourself. Don't become negative in your thinking, don't say things and then think later of not doing them, that is only a cop out.
