I am not concerned with how dominant you are or how submissive I am. My interest lies in how we connect and what we can build.
I am open to the possibility of finding the dominant, among the crowd, who stands out as someone who excites me, can relate to me, and whom I can also respect. For me, this embodies certain contradictions. The man I find interesting would possess these characteristics: sense of humor, stability, not fearful of kink and exploration; dominant without being domineering; varied interests and experiences; lives a fulfilling life; is left of center, especially where social issues are concerned; non-conforming; has the ability to gently teach and most importantly - cares more about life than he does about kink.
I am an a-typical submissive. Submission is one part of who I am, but it certainly is not the entirety. I enjoy being pleased as much as I enjoy pleasing. When I feel a connection, it is easy for me to be dedicated to the task at hand. Some find me sassy, outspoken and a bit high-strung. My interests include message boards, reading, music, NFL (Go Steelers!), cycling and volunteerism. In specific, if the weather is warm, I'm likely to lose hours of time during the weekend riding my bike. It's my primary "escape" and thinking time. During the fall/winter I am all about the NFL. I love to write and journal, I have an appreciation for the written word and for those who communicate clearly. I work two jobs (don't ask how busy I am, it's insane). My life is blessed and I am grateful.
