FAQ: "Why do you talk funny?" We have adopted two speech protocols in Our household. One is third person objective in reference to Our slave(s). Thus, We refer to the slave as "it", the slave refers to itself as "it" and uses
third person, such as "this slave" or their own name. The second is plural for the Master, used by the Master. This is in obedience to a spiritual calling to recognize 1) the connection between seemingly two consciousnesses that make up the Master and Universe and 2) the connection between the two, or more, bodies that make up Master and slave. It is currently new and "I" think
it is terribly awkward and "I" have egoic struggles with it. "I" have to admit, "I" am hoping that the Universe deems it temporary! But, "I"
have made a commitment to be obedient... and so We will use it. We, Us and Our, with caps, refer to the singular person, Master Fire. we, us our, without caps, are the standard plural pronouns. Except
when they're not. The short version: Because We find this to be a spiritual path, We feel led to be open to more than one slave. We do not choose these slaves, they are chosen for Us by the Universe and We obey that calling. We will offer a place of some sort in the household if We feel spiritually led to Master a slave regardless of their sex, gender, sexual orientation, race, age, yadda yadda. __About Us__
Some people seem to be confused by a woman using the title "Master." It is a gender-neutral term in the national Leather community, just like “slave.” We are a female gendered, biologically female, Master, Dominant, Top and bottom.
We're a very sweet person (even while being blunt, structured and sometimes intense), genuinely nice, very open and honest, as you will read. That, to Us, is living with integrity and being Ourself, authentically.
Our default setting is "serious," but We love someone with wit and, on occasion, can be witty, too. We like intellectual conversations and can hold up Our end on most things, but, We can be a goofball and laugh at bathroom humor with the best of them. Silliness can often be an art form. ;-)
Our spirituality is a major component of Our life. It's an eclectic mix of Leather, Pagan, Native American and Buddhist with a Christian background. Think Chakra or Chi…then add ritual, body mod, alternative relationships, totems and speaking in tongues. Through all this, We are both a Servant Master and a Warrior Priestess.
__Our Philosophy__
We believe that Masters and slaves come to the table as healthy adults with equally important needs. What makes us different from other relationships is that we have a transfer of authority inside a well-defined, agreed upon structure. In such a relationship, the slave is of equal value as an entity, but is not of equal status.
Our structure, at its core, is this: Obedience is THE defining attribute of what we do, both of the Master to their higher calling (or inner knowing) and of the slave to the Master. As We work to become a spiritual adult and surrender Our will to the Universe, We expect my slaves to work to become spiritual adults and surrender their will to Us. This is often not an overnight process.
Because these relationships are so special...because We strive to live authentically...because We care so much for Our slaves, We expect obedience. The goal of the relationship is a surrender that comes so naturally that the question about it being "blind" doesn't even come up. The trust should be so developed and the surrender so complete, why We have given an order is not important; it is only important that We have given one. We love Our slaves enough to provide this for them for this is the way we will find our spiritual destiny.
