Update January 2012

Mentoring a girl in Ocala. She is finding her way, and attending a few local get togethers.

Update 19 January 2011

I am actively seeking a slave/submissive, preferably one that can travel with me as I run to Florida and back every week, with other trips, gone 5 to 9 days and return to Denver. I spend a lot of time in the Gainesville/Ocala area.

I wrote this in counsel to a particular person, but it should be a part of my profile:

There is a famous quote from "The Bridges at Toko-Ri" in which Fredrick March says, after William Holden and Mickey Rooney are killed, "where do we get such men?". In the case of the movie, men that were willing to die to save another.

I take that to another degree, where do we find men with strength of character, willing to give and stand by their word, and do whatever is needed for those they love. We've created a society in which, when the going gets tough, quitting is an acceptable means of shirking ones responsibility.

The entire concept of a separation of men and women has been all but lost long ago, watered down by modern society.

To be sure, some of the changes have been for the good. Gender equality in the workplace and in pay are a few examples of positive changes. However, "feminizing" men has been to societies detriment. Basic human nature designed the sexes for specific roles, and without the fulfillment of those roles, people are left to ask, what is mine and what is hers/his.

Frederic March asked, where do we get such men.

We do exist, and our numbers are growing. The pendulum of extremes swings back to a middle point, where nature and society can peacefully coexist. There can be a balance between modern thought and traditional roles of men and women. There are men, and women, who understand that nature was right. John Norman, the writer of the Gorean novels, said, "women, if you want your men to be men, be more feminine and men, if you want your women to be women, be more masculine".

One need not be what was referred to as a "chauvinist" to be a man. A confident man can be emotional, serious, funny, fun loving and whatever else he chooses, without questioning his "masculinity". A masculine man is someone that also listens and is attentive to his lady. It is the mans responsibility to make certain his family is content, both in material and spiritual needs. He is servant, as well as served.

Most "real men" you probably won't notice, they're too busy going about their lives and don't stand out or find need to point out themselves to others. But, they will be there, true to their word, hold their honor high, and will never give you doubt as to the relationship and how you stand in his eyes and heart.
