| I was raised Methodist. I remember being six... and asking the minister... "why is it so important to go to heaven?" He tells me "well, in heaven the streets are paved with gold." Me being six, I said "so what?" Him being 40, he didn't have an answer.
I like the intimate exchange involved in D/s, intensifying a healthy, loving relationship. I work hard, play hard, and love hard. I don't live to work, and prefer the simpler things in life. I'm a musician, photographer, former Marine, and currently a computer jockey. I've changed zip codes more times than most people change socks.
I love to laugh. I love to see my friends happy. I love good books, or great discussions. There's no topic I find taboo, and few topics that I have any sort of stereotypical position. I'm especially fond of discussing interpersonal relationships, religion, politics (regional or world), and philosophy.
My first attempt at college was a miserable failure. I don't pretend to be brighter than you, but I probably am. I really enjoy reading Faulkner, Poe, Uris, Michener, but enjoy relaxing with Clive Barker, Grisham, or The Economist.
My personal views tend to be more traditional than your average SF
fare. I believe in liberal application of fiscally responsible positions(as in, freedom of choice for all, so long as the government doesn't have to pay for it.) I believe in the inherent rights to privacy and sovereign rights one should enjoy within their home, and worry a lot about where our society is headed on these issues.
