Here there be Monsters!
I was raised Methodist. I remember being six... and asking the minister... "why is it so important to go to heaven?" He tells me "well, in heaven the streets are paved with gold." Me being six, I said "so what?" Him being 40, he didn't have an answer.
Have just moved to Los Angeles and I'm interested in meeting new people here.
I'm a dominant man, a musician, former Marine, and I've recently returned to the US after living 3 years abroad in Santiago, Chile. I've also lived in Japan for 3 years and I love to travel. I play saxophone and guitar, and I'm mostly interested in blues and rock.
I have a slave (charlotteS here on CM), and we enjoy making and playing with friends, and attending fetish events and dungeons with others in the LA area. We're open to friendship with men, women, couples, etc.
I have been involved in the lifestyle now about 10 years. I prefer total power exchange relationships, but I find the person and chemistry matter a great deal more than the form. I like the intimate exchange involved in D/s, intensifying a healthy, loving relationship. I work hard, play hard, and love hard. I don't live to work, and prefer the simpler things in life. I would take a home cooked Bar B Que meal at home or on the beach, over the finest tiny portion Filet Mignon in a five star restaurant .
I love to laugh. I love to see my friends happy. I love a good book, or a great discussion. There's no topic I find taboo, and few topics that I have any sort of typical position. I'm especially fond of discussing interpersonal relationships, religion, politics (regional or world), or philosophy.
My first attempt at college was a miserable failure. I don't pretend to be brighter than you, but I probably am. I really enjoy reading Faulkner, Poe, Uris, Michener, but enjoy relaxing with Clive Barker, Grisham, or potatoandonion (google it, on the lardfork server; it's well worth the read.)
I'm an extremely intense person. This bothers most people, and that's fine with me.
I post on the CM forums a lot. You should too; it's the best feature of this site.
