In short, I'm a hippie. Yes, I like making pretty little things scream, and sure, I occasionally leave welts and bruises that force people to wear turtlenecks to work when it's 70 degrees out. However, my kinks are only a part of my identity.
I'm a hetero-flexible top-leaning switch sadist with a penchant for punishment, an affinity for alliteration, and a loathing of labels. Aspiring poet-scholar-revolutionary-artist-musician-fisherman with a pinch of Renaissance man to round off the plate, I'm a composite character full of twisted plotting and plotted twists. If my scattered brain were in a scatter chart the art of the curves one wrote would asymptote at insanity, ever-moving ever-closer but never crossing the line.
I live deliberately, with caution where it belongs but not in excess, keeping my walls mended because that's what makes me a good neighbor. I'm a mess behind a fortress diverting my stress to something less pointless than the petty squabbles most mistake for importance. Each time I see someone watching reality tv a part of me screams, "Read something!" but the words just bounce around in my own head.
While time is relative it is more precious than money, for I can only spend it once. I mind my time tighter than my wallet, making sure that when I die, I'll be able to say that I lived, and not lie.
Because life is simply too short for hatred and distance, I'll end this with a favorite quote of mine:
"Every inch of me shall perish. Every inch, but one. An inch. It is small and it is fragile and it is the only thing in the world worth having. We must never lose it or give it away. We must never let them take it from us. I hope that whoever you are, you escape this place. I hope that the world turns, and that things get better.
