| New to Vancouver and looking to make a few friends!
I'm something of a world-wanderer. Much of my life reads like fiction, so like any book, I try to provide some exposition and character development before the juicy plot points come out.
Just out of something serious, so mostly on here to make friends. I'm gay ( not bi ) and submissive ( not switch ), but happy to talk with anyone from anywhere.
I'm the Cherry Darling of trivia. Someday, a knowledge of early-modern grimoires, late-Romantic harmony, and Avante Garde perfumery will save me from a zombie army of Parisian dilettantes, so I'm preparing well in advance. Needless to say, I have a host of eclectic hobbies and interests not covered by the Collarme's interests lists, but I'm as interested in people different from me as I am in finding like minds. Show me something I've never seen before and it'll grab my attention like there's no tomorrow.
I've just returned from the Middle East to the clean, damp safety of pacific Canada. My Lawrence of Arabia moment, I suppose, albeit one spliced at odd angles with Sally Bowles, Frenzy For Two, and possibly, Terry Gilliam's Brazil. I'd do it all again in a heartbeat. If you're in some far-flung corner of the world, you never know - I might show up!
Since it's inevitable that the question should come up, while I'm not actively looking for an owner just now, I'm submissive on a spectrum anywhere between submissive houseboy all the way to some of the more extreme master-slave situations. I've found so often that defining a relationship before you know the man you'll be in with is a fruitless effort. My only hard limit is non-monogamy ( I am seeking a monogamous situation; always have, always will ), but the rest, well, that's all up to the man I'm with. There's nothing so extreme it would shock me, but a charismatic man is worth more than a carnival of kink, any day.
