First off, I am mostly here for the forums. If you want to get to know me, please read my posts there. Secondly, I am currently working a lot of overtime, and cannot reply to every cmail. Apologies for that but, unfortunately, my landlord and the nice folks holding the paper on my car do not accept fan letters in lieu of payment ;)

On to the profile:

One thing I love about the internet is that it provides the opportunity to interact with people all over the world. This is not a substitute for RL friendships to me; it is simply a way to expand my horizons to include many very cool people who live up to half a world away in my social circle. As I see it, we have a lot to learn from each other and can certainly become friends, regardless of physical distance.

That said, if you don't have a pic on your profile, please send one with your intro mail... call me odd, but I like having a visual of the person I'm conversing with.

As to me; I'm 41 years old and live in Southern California. I have a Bachelor's in Ecology and Systematic Biology from a respected state University, and am occasionally accused of hugging trees (not in a fetish way, mind)

Things I love doing:
-Cooking, esp if I don't have to do the cleanup

-Going out for sushi- damned near makes me wet if the rainbow roll and hamachi are up to snuff

-Photography, "painting with light" is a favourite technique

-Crochet & quilting (they're not just for grannies anymore)

-Beading (see above)

-Making my own toys- I'm teaching myself leatherworking, and have so far made all of my own floggers, as well as several for friends.  I have also finished 4 paddles made from saddle leather and JB Weld, (the second and third of which now belong to Dominants who, I'm told, put them to good use quite often :D) and a set of custom leather cuffs. Next up is probably a slapper.
Side note: I'm rather of the school of thought that says that toys, particularly those that cannot be sterilized, should go with the submissive. That said, this sub comes complete with accessories :)

-Fishing; freshwater when camping, saltwater when anything is "running". Nothing better than fresh-caught fish fried in seasoned flour.

-Camping in remote areas- WITH my camera and fishing rod.

-Reading anything and everything, although my preferences run to legal and other thrillers, horror, fantasy, and SciFi. I can often be found scouring the shelves of second hand book stores.

-Massage - getting or giving, this is something I truly love. The power of touch is a wonderful thing.

-Second hand stores- this is likely a holdover from my renn faire days, but I just can't resist looking for a bit of treasure amidst the rubble.


Politics- I really try not to, esp when it comes to parties, as I think all party-sheep have their heads firmly planted up their asses. I tend to vote the candidate, not the "party".

Final note (If you read this far, Congrats! LOL) I do not accept chat or friend requests from people that I do not know either through cmail or from the CM forums.
