Interested in talking to and learning from others

8/23/2008 10:48:01 PM: I do my best to stay positive about the CM experience, particularly after finding my wonderful girl, but there is one thing that continues to puzzle me.

You see a profile, think the person looks interesting to chat to and their interests and what they are looking for seems to be a fairly good fit so you assume that you could get along okay.

Not trying to get in to their knickers or do anything more than share experiences, etc. and spend some time crafting a pleasant introductory message yet find that it has been deleted without being read.

How can you delete an email from someone whose profile you have never seen yet alone understood what was contained in the message? Do they have some unannounced set of bulk mail filters that delete rather than file and store certain messages?

Maybe the person asked  a question in their profile or journal about growing Bonzai trees in Outer Mongolia, and despite being a foremost expert on the subject (I'm not btw) your hard crafted message gets canned without a second thought.

Remember people, this is supposed to be a friendly community not just a place for a bit of kink. Oh wait...

I really enjoy talking to some of the like minded people on this site. I think people in general should just talk more, random stuff, funny stuff, it doesn't always have to be sexual or about submission.

I wish I could bring my journal up to the standard of some of the other I read. You know, in amongst all those rants and demands, there are some gems quietly hidden away.

I've read some that have made me laugh out loud, others that have made me cry and some, well, some that make me want to reach out to people.

We are all just regular people at the end of the day, we just have different hobbies to some...

So very true. The well being of those you are responsible for must take precedence over your individual needs.

8/1/2008 11:07:13 AM: Not quite sure what happened but my profile mysteriously disappeared the other day. Seems to be a long line of people having the same problems.

I went to send a message to someone and despite being logged in I was told I needed to create a profile before I could send it. Tried logging in and out but I could do nothing until I had created the profile.

Oh well, at least my journal entries survived but a pretty bizarre situation to be in.
