Why do I feel that if I'm not open/honest with people that any friendships 'built' are just absolute
bullshit without a proper foundation?But then, on the other
hand, when I am open/honest, as I have been on here and other places, I
have trouble making real/proper friends or any friendships/associations
with people.A lot of the time I feel like that when I am open
& honest with people, a pseudo-friendship is established where I
feel like nothing more than a curiosity to people - someone merely to
be observed from the distance when people are otherwise bored or have
nothing to do.And, when I try to establish friendships &
what not, why is it that I feel like I'm always the one making the
effort? I never get outright turned down by people saying 'no, i don't
want to be friends, fuck off', but hey, it's a two way street --
particularly if I'm the one who is contacted and people show an initial
interest in being friends or whatever (as opposed to me trying to
contact other people, and 'pestering' them -- which I've never been
forward enough to do). I figure if people don't show SOME interest,
then pestering them is just going to make them even more disinterested).One
particular instance of this has been annoying the hell out of me.
Talking to someone who I thought I had built up some sort of friendship
with, then, upon initiating conversation, being told stuff like 'I
meant to', 'I was going to..' (call / message you / whatever).
Particularly annoying, especially when you kind of like (as in REALLY
like) the person in question; but given certain circumstances don't
feel it's appropriate to be forward in your feelings for them.I
feel fucked - existing friendships based on nothing but (dare I use the
term) fraud, and unable to build friendships (and something more --
terribly sick of being single) when I am open/honest about myself to
others.I feel caught between a rock & a hard place - if I
can't even build up proper friendships and have REAL friends, what hope
do I have at finding a female partner?..I've made the attempt
with people which largely seems to get me nowhere (and I doubt that not
being a pushy/forward person has a lot to do with this) -- so what do I
do?As far as I see it, I can try living as a 'normal' guy
(relatively speaking) who is part time CD, then continue forming
pseudo-friendships (already quite hard to do if you're not open &
honest).

Ergh, a bit sick of this place. I only ever seem to get contacted by guys.. Which doesn't interest me.And when I make the effort to contact people, it either goes pear shaped or I get no response heh.. I try to come across as truly as I am - honest, genuine, caring.. all for talking that either leads nowhere or conversations that seem to just revolve around web cams.Could it be lack of any experience on my behalf that makes people hesitant?  I should note that I AM keen.. I'm not just here to explore as an observer, but rather as a participant.

Still on the search for people :(As much as I do like chatting to people online, I'd prefer those that are local or at least in Australia.Please keep in mind that I am very much a beginner - having had NO experience with anything in real life. But everyone has to start somewhere, right?I have been frequenting feminization related chatrooms with BDSM elements for years - the main reason I joined this site, however, was to try and hopefully meet people in real life & carry myself into the real world instead of some silly online fantasy.I won't turn down requests to chat purely online, as it's always nice to have people to chat to regardless of their location (local or not) - but please keep in mind that my preference is (potential) real world meeting.. and silly things like webcam requests will be ignored.I also just updated my interests to include more things so I don't seem like as much of a bore & to help people get a better idea about me.
