There is a very fine line between a painful honesty that helps another grow, and the snarky negative kind that is a thinly veiled attack. It takes a great deal of self awareness and maturity to avoid crossing that line. All too often, while our truth and honesty, really is........we use it as a subtle weapon to hurt in a way that reflects quite poorly in our own mirror. Unfortunately, that is much less clear to us.
