I see many different ideas of how to treat a slave on here. I was taught to treat a slave with love, first and foremost. It is entirely possible to express love while still setting maintaining the position of master. I have witnessed this from the man who demonstrated what the word 'master' meant as he worked beside me and came to be my brother.
