I hate HATE when family members are ill with pneumonia and having to get spots and things checked out for cancer, I don't like feeling like I am going to lose my best friends, especially since I have rediscovered how much I like (OK, make that LOVE) them again. WOW!We just survived through some major cold weather here in Florida this past week, brrrrr!!!For this area, 17 and 19 were just wayyyy too cold! Osteopenia.Have just been diagnised with this.Currently doing research to help build up bone density W/O medication. Would prefer upping my calcium citrate & vit. D3 dosages as well as adding some weight bearing exercises to my daily routine.Anyone with any knowledge, advice, suggestions, tips, etc are encouraged to write. Left for Paris, no problems, everything was great, had an awesome time with family that I hadn't seen in as long as 36 years (some had visited the states so it wasn't that long). It was still great to get to visit with as much family as possible, they were great hosts.Spent a few days in Paris, walking, shopping, taking pictures, walking, taking the Metro, shopping, walking (did I mention that we walked, hehe).The food and wines were incredible, my relatives can really make someone feel special. I am absolutely loving the cooler weather (no matter how brief and temporary it is) right now. It's been in the high 60's/low 70's in the a.m., great for having the AC off, windows and doors open, maybe a ceiling fan running.I have been watching USF college football with great interest, GO BULLS! Also, I am watching the Boston Red Sox too.

The trip out to Seattle was fairly uneventful, although I did feel a bit queasy towards the last few hours on the plane.The weather out here is such a wonderful change from what I am used to in FL, so nice & breezy, even a bit chilly at times, OMG!Friday it rained, the temps were in the 60's (in July?), wow... in Tampa, FL, the weather was in the high 80's and 90's.I've met up with some of the most interesting people out here, some have proved to be above and beyond my expectations.The traffic out here is yucky.The trees and plants and such are a real nice change from what I am used to, haven't seen "the mountain" yet... darn clouds keep getting in my way, grrrrrr....

(4-1)Tomorrow (Monday) is the 4th iron infusion, I am so glad that Wednesday is the last one.Hopefully my iron will get up and stay up.(3-29)OK, Iron infusions aren't going so hot, found out that I am definitely NOT into needles (didn't think I was)!(in between 3-19 & 3-29)I have addressed the health issues and we shall see how everything goes.waiting... waiting... waiting.... Found out today that a very dear friend passed away from breast cancer yesterday afternoon... The doctors "thought" they had gotten all of it a few years ago... guess they didn't. They gave her 6 months to live, that was 4 months ago. Guess the doctors made another "error".... ooops I ran into another longtime friend a month ago, she has breast cancer too... She is taking it day to day, she says that she's tried everything and is in "Stage 4". She'll be leaving a husband and a son who is in high school.
Found out today that a very dear friend passed away from breast cancer yesterday afternoon..
