I was never one to become to attached to pets, I had a dog growing up.
He was put to sleep when I was about 6. Then it was years before I had
another pet. Close to 20, then my cat was killed at a very old age by
an asshole in town. But when I moved into my new house 6
years ago, I got a cat, a simple gray and white cat, we named her
Olive.Yesterday I had to put her down at the young age of 6. She had
cancer and it spread throughout her body. There was really nothing that
could save her. So I did what I had to do and the vet put her
down while she was still gassed from some tests being done to see how
far the cancer spread. Now today, as I look around my house, I
never thought a simple pet could become such a part of our family. But
that is what she was, though if you where to ask me that last year I
would have said, NO she's just the cat. But now I realize what a huge
role she had in our lives. I will miss you Olive, I am happy you
are no longer suffering and that I took you home to be buried in your
favorite place in the backyard, the place where you would run to as
soon as we let you out. I thought of burying her just beyond our
backyard, as a final reward. See she was trained to not leave our yard,
and she really never did. Though she would lay down at the end of the
driveway, next to the sidewalk and when she stretched she would have 1
front paw out of the yard on the sidewalk. while she looked up at me
like she had won a secret battle Thank you Olive, I will miss you, you crazy bike, car, and leaf chasing cat.If they approve it, there is a picture of her in my photo section

Well, after being tired of feeling tired, this one has taken up jogging. The winter had taken it's toll and I need to get some movement, so here's to attempting to jog. Ahhhhhhh............... The person I was going to drive up north with bailed.....I hate long drives alone......Anyone feel like camping this week? Leaving Tuesday morning for 2-3 days, no cost, just someone to relax with and enjoy the great outdoors, and a beer or two

It has been a very busy day in the kitchen today, this morning I baked 3 Apple Streusel Coffee Cakes for a Mistress, 1 I served her when I arrived, the other two went into her freezer for when she desires themTonight for dinner, Swedish Meatballs with with homemade egg noodles.Careful if you desire me to serve you, chances are awfully good you will gain weight

Hey ever wanted to be on stage????I'm a performer who is going to be holding auditions very soon in Chicago for a part in my show.
