I get that we're all different so this is a statment of my preferences not a judgement of yours.. It strikes me more often as I get older and (allegedly) wiser that this should be about happiness and - shoot me for suggesting it! - about fun! I have enough stress and confrontation in my 'normal' life and this is one of the things I do to take those stresses away. If you're 100% 'lifestyle' and believe kink can only be enjoyed as the result of a rigid set of rules that all subs must adhere to, or if you notice me failing to capitalise 'i' and take it as anything more meaningful than clumsy typing then chances are we don't share much common ground. My 'lifestyle' revolves around my family, our business, my animals and all the happiness and lunacy that comes with those things... bdsm is the icing as far as I'm concerned, it's not the whole cake! What I can't get my head round is those who take this soooo seriously that they sap all the fun out of it.
