Just thought i would let folk know that it's been 6 months and more since i gave up smoking, and other crazy things too, btw, and i am doing really well without it all. Coupled with not drinking for so many years i feel quite good, given the other shit going on!And yes, i know full well i would not have been so successful without the support of a wonderful Master, all round good egg and wizard of the electrics, Andy, cockney of this parish. Oh, yes, and wheelchair technician par excellence!!!

Thanks for the support folks, life goes forward but the smoking is still history! If i can do it, anyone can! Can't wait to see in a new year where i can say i am truly drink and tobacco free, and happily so. 5 years without a drink, 5+ months without tobacco. Onwards and upwards. Amazing what the wholehearted support of a good man can help achieve!

For the folks who expressed an interest a while back, i thought i would touch base and let you know it's now been 2 months since i gave up smoking and i am still going strong, no lapses, nothing!* * * * * Oh yes, and getting on well with the new powered wheelchair too, out and about around town on my own now, the confidence due to Andy's help and patience! Cheers my dear!!!* * * * *

Yay! At last, my new pc is up and running! Been a bad couple of days since old faithful blew up, but with the help of a friend and the ides being favourable i am now on something a tad pokier too!Now which way to the picnic?

Laugh? No, just wondered why the silly woman would block me, until it dawned on me she couldn't handle anyone who wouldn't get down in the gutter and make a spectacle of themselves. Don't like the truth, some people on here, that's for sure. Now i will have that laugh! There are times when i lose my innate faith in human beings being honest, with themselves let alone others, and while i am having to keep relatively quiet elsewhere i will ask of that one person here trying to stir a cold pot...why?Why are you spouting half truths and downright lies? Why can you not be honest? What does it gain you? What good does it do?For an adult, and someone i took as a friend and more, i have to say i don't understand what you hope to come from all this. Your words effect more than one, and is that really your intent?

There are odd bodies around here who do not seem to be able to keep things real. Shame on them. A pity, because the mess they try to create, the damage they try to inflict, the trouble they try to cause will ultimately come back to bite them in the ass.Thankfully there are level headed folk who see things as they really are, know the truth and do not let drama get in the way of reality. To the misguided soul, i hope your life improves and you understand how stunts like yours do you no favours.
