I firmly believe that a woman serves. She does not serve when it suits her or when she feels like it or on her own terms. That said, she would not be a very wise woman if she chose to serve a man to whom she was not well matched.
These days I see so many subs/slaves who are lazy, thoughtless, unmotivated, without ambition or desire outside of their own pleasure.
If one is a bedroom sub/slave, that is fine. But please just admit what you are and save a lot of hassle in the process.
In regards to Dominants or Masters, I believe that when you take the sub/slave you take all of them. That includes good days and bad, sickness and health, needy or giving. That means you take an interest in their health; mental, spiritual and physical. It also means that you guide and protect them. A Dominants/Masters job is a really tough one. I wouldn't want it.
I suppose it all boils down to this: if you are going to do something, do it right. A half effort merely wastes time and expends energy uselessly.
