8/20/2010 5:08:48 PM: Mentors and SubsIt is generally accepted that a mentor in this lifestyle is someone who does not get physically involved with the person they are mentoring. They do not scene with them nor do they engage in sexual activity with them. The role they fill is that of teacher and friend. They answer questions, provide support and advice for new people in the lifestyle as well as point out big red flags. Again, they get no more physically involved than the average high school teacher does with a student. After the mentoring is done, you do NOT take advantage of the bond you have. The person should not become yours. It violates the relationship in my opinion.I wish we had a mentor group here in Springfield. They don't have any, but I have seen them in other areas.
