That's crazy, I said, and went on with my life.So here I am, with allergies for the first time ever (isn't this stuff supposed to happen in Spring?). I'm experimenting with all the over-the-counter stuff, but it's barely making a dent. I'm missing a friend's show tonight because I realized there was no way for me to be away from massive quantities of Kleenex for several hours without seriously disturbing those audience members around me.It makes me remember a great British sketch comedy group that does a whole routine about what babies men are when we're sick, and it's sadly so true. I've gotten several "corrections".Manet's work is a very graphic, flat, illustrative style that brings a starkness to what had always been either very literal or very decorative before him. Monet was more interested in both the theory of color perception and playing with the mechanics of representing beauty.That's your ten cent art history lesson for the day :) _______________________________ 7/18/2007 12:07:29 PM: Harry Potter is done :(I got the book at midnight Friday with my neices and mom and sisters in Houston, and we all enjoyed seeing everyone dressed up and excited!
