I should have updated this some time ago, better late than never?
First off, and most importantly, I'm involved with someone and have been for awhile. He's a wonderful man, my steady Top, totally in love with him and the best thing that's ever happened to me, so I'm NOT looking for:
1. another Top;
2. a dom(me); or
3. new play partners.
OK, that last one isn't entirely true, but that depends an awful lot on what you're after, and what you can do. It's been my experience that pretty much everyone looking for play partners is also looking for something more than "that," and I can't be the "that" anymore.
Which of course leads to the logical interrogative: if I have such a great thing going, why be on a website that's devoted to pervy hookups?
Good question, and my answer is quite simple: I'm very conflicted about certain aspects of my sexuality and my current relationship, and am looking for answers and enlightenment, here and elsewhere.
I identify as a sexual masochist, "bottom" as it were, not as a submissive. Having watched and met and enjoyed the company of people who are certainly true submissives, that's left me more than curious about an aspect of my sexuality. It's certainly arousing watching true subbies, there's a certain aura and impression of contentment which leads me, trying to be an objective observer, to wonder, "why can't I be that way, what am I doing wrong?"
I want my man to be my Dom, not just my Top. I want our relationship to evolve from SM to BD and DS. Maybe insert "need" for "want." How do I do that?
That said though, I'm NOT trying to find a Mentor or Master or Mistress to "educate" me in the submissive ways I so allegedly crave ;-)
What I AM looking for are conversations and discussions and gabs with people who have similar feelings, who are similarly conflicted and may or may not have sorted it all out. Which might just be the Mentors or Masters or Mistresses I so callously rejected in the above paragraph.
So if you're looking for a hookup, sex slave, servant or something like that, I'm probably not what you're after, at least not until I manage to screw up the best thing that's ever happened to me (Patrick!!). No, I really don't want to just meet for coffee or a drink because we both know that's not really what you want, is it?
BUT!!!
If you're someone like me who is trying to sort out bottoming versus subbing, or maybe from the topping / domming perspective, and you're looking for someone to gab with about it, then look me up? Trade experiences good and bad, bitch and complain about guys who don't understand?
Or, if you've managed to do what I'm trying to sort, gone from bottom to sub, let me know how you approached it, what worked and what didn't and why you think it did or didn't?
I suppose one could approach this as: being Virgil to my Dante, perhaps vice versa. Or more accurately, my Teela to your Louis Wu (and if you don't know what that refers to, you probably don't want to waste your time with me)?
So I guess to narrow it down to "name that tune:"
He's my Top, I'm his bottom; I want to be his subbi and want him to be my Dom but that's not quite how he feels. It's sort of evolving but anyone care to help me move it along?
Or maybe just trade Crossfit tips?
