I began exploring this world about 15 years ago, 5 years before I purchased my first computer. At that time, I began to wonder exactly how many people of color were drawn here. It seemed that whenever I attended functions, I was alone.

Yet so many people behave in a way which is much different than they would when dealing with others face to face.
I also found that there seems to be a much broader use of the terms 'dominant' and 'submissive', especially when used in 'personal ads'. It is not uncommon to see an ad posted by a woman who seeks a black dominant, although when asked, she will say she is not a submissive.
