I am still quite new to the scene and have not had many experiences. I used to be Domme, then for personal reasons, became a switch. I am now a submissive just because I like it more. To have a Dom take me in his arms and completely control what I do is a feeling that mere words cannot describe. I had a Dom who was training me in most aspects of the lifestyle, but he moved to Texas. I will NOT respond to e-mails with only one to three words in them, or who are just looking for sex. This is NOT what I am looking for in the lifestyle. To me, it is not just about sex. It's about completely giving yourself to another. Trust, honesty, loyalty, love, and devotion are the keys to this. You can't submit yourself to someone, or even Domme someone who you do not trust, whom you can't be honest with, who you can't be loyal too, or who you cannot love. To me, whether you be a Top or a bottom, you still need to have quite a bit of strength to put forth the effort that this lifestyle demands. You cannot half ass it. You can not want it just because you're wanting to add more kink in the bedroom. Kink is good, but if you're only into the small things and cannot keep an open mind then this lifestyle is not for you. I have listed some of my hard limits on here, and they are my hard limits either because I have already tried them, or because they're just something that I am completely and totally unwilling to do because they're against what I believe in as a person.
