My wife and I participate in an authority transfer relationship with no pre-negotiated boundaries.  I tell her what to do and she does it.  It's really just that simple.   The relationship structure is more like a "team" than anything else.  I'm the leader and she plays follow the leader :)  There are no real limits that we have found yet to this control.  What she eats, how she dresses, does her hair, who her friends are, whether she works or not and if so where, where she lives, whether she's allowed to indulge in her vices, and even how she views the world and processes her emotional responses are all mine to control.  We do not engage in any punishment dynamic, the "need" for which is obviated by her obedience.

As the team leader, my general goal is to lead the team for the team's benefit to the best of my ability to discern it.  This is not about either me or her.  It's about "us".  At any given moment, what is good for "us" may swing her way, my way, or neither way.  Oh well.

For us, there is a relatively small kink component to this.  We don't engage in SM and about the extent of the bondage is the collar, leash, and occasionally I cuff her while she's working just because I like seeing her submit physically (she hates the cuffs).  We don't do scenes, either inside the house or outside and we generally don't go to BDSM functions such as munches.

At the less pragmatic level, I do consider Carol my possession to do with as I please.  For instance, she's none too pleased about the amount of real life information I provide here on Collarme.  I didn't ask her opinion nor am I that concerned about her disagreement on that topic.  In this context I do use the terms Master/slave but I readily acknowledge that these terms do not describe the pragmatic, day-to-day running of our marriage. 

Other than that, we live in northern california (sacramento for you locals).  We enjoy a varied life that includes a lot of the things you'd expect from someone in our socio-economic bracket.  In short, think white-bread suburban and you've got us nailed.  Well, me nailed anyway.  She's definitely a bit darker and kinkier than I am.  For her, you can think "alternative art-chick caught in suburban hell" and you wouldn't be too far off *laughs*.
