My dearest Deanna owns my heart. She is the most remarkable person I have ever known. She is the perfect compliment to me. She is beautiful, intelligent, caring, and knows who she is and what she seeks in life. She has allowed me to bare my soul to her, everything about me, and she has done so in kind. She is the rare gem everyone seeks, the person who you can tell anything without judgement. She hasn't asked me to change anything about me, and is there to encourage me in the areas I am improving on. She is my confidante, my lover, my friend.
Now we are slowly building a life that will bring us together forever. Though we so desperately want to just throw caution to the winds, we will remain steadfast in taking the right approach, which involves making decisions with more than just the two of us involved. We are taking care to continue to add to each other's life, not disrupt it.
The day is off in the future, but it is real. We will unite our hearts in ceremony and vow. When the day comes, we will know it is right. Just like every step we have taken to this point, it will be done with care, love, and consideration.
