I first experienced this type of relationship in college and to say it has had a significant effect on my outlook would be an understatement! After having spent the last few years doing those other 'life things' we all have to do it is now time to once again pursue these interests. I am a realist about this type of situation having experienced it for relatively long periods on more than one occasion and I do realize it is hard work......and not always 'fun'! I am at the point I can move where I want to and do what I want to do.....and what I want to do is give myself to a long term owner.
