I am recruiting for a first officer reporting directly to me. At this point, I am without a command. I am confident that the Altmirality will assign me a new sub to command in due time though.
I run a strict but fair command on my boat. I won't tolerate insubordination, any such infractions shall be considered for punishment. The days of keelhauling are over, however a corrective flogging can still be part of the disciplinary regimen. Repeat offenders will find themselves in shackles in the brig, subject to the Captain’s mast or a martial court.
I'm not an unreasonable commander though, I do listen to a rational argument and reasoning before I make my final decision. If anything, I expect my first officer to have a brain of her own and act independently according to or in the spirit of my orders. I have no use for an inanimate doormat to put in front of my hatch.
As Captain, it is my duty to keep my command safe and look after the wellbeing of my crew. All needs will be met and all wants shall be considered. The distinction however, is at the Captain's discretion. My subordinate's morale is also of great concern to me. For example, I won't allow my sub being torpedoed unless as part of a training exercise.
During said training, we're going to increase the endurance and efficiency of the crew. Said initial (and later training, when at sea) training shall be physically and intellectually demanding. Discipline will enforced because once we are beating to quarters in a real-life situation, there'll be precious little margin for error.
Conditions at sea often make it necessary that crew and material are taken to their limits, as their duty requires.
Be advised that a dress code is in effect. If you can't see yourself abide by the law of the sea or my orders, don't let the bulkhead hit you in the ass on your way out.
Naval language and terms are not required in your application. Captain out.

Okay, apparently there has been some confusion in regards to the intensity of my little description. It serves a few purposes, one is to demonstrate that I am intelligent and creative. Also, it describes me and what I am looking for, but it is meant to be tongue-in-cheek and show that I have a sense of humour. Chances are that if a choice of words sounds a bit odd, then it was to stay within the amusing kinky "navel" theme. I realise that there are some right nutters out there, but I'm not one of them. I believe the above description pretty much described who I am looking for.
Prior training/experience is not required. The initial pace will be slow and would be well suited to accomodate a newbie. Old hands will certainly not be bored however, as my approach is very different from what you probably experienced in the BDSM world. I like to push my subs limits, but if you think that means exclusively in subject matters like pain, humiliation, confinement and overall perversion, then you are mistaken. I do appreciate, and appreciate a lot, sexual openmindedness, and not of the vanilla sort!
Intelligence is also not required, but greatly desired, if that makes sense. I can be a real judgmental prick and if for example you can't spell worth a damn, then I consider this a problem. A problem however which we'd address. Expect also to learn another language.
